I wanted to give you a brief update regarding my plans over the next two weeks.  As you know, I have been planning for the past few months to go to Israel on a Holy Land tour with Denver Seminary.  The dates of that tour are January 11 - 22, 2022.  Unfortunately, the State of Israel has cancelled that tour, as well as all other tours of the Holy Land for at least the month of January.  Israel closed its borders to tours sometime in mid-December 2021 due to rising rates of COVID-19, and they recently decided to extend that closure through January 2022.  While I am a little disappointed that I don't get to go to Israel at this time, I am grateful that I won't be getting stuck in Israel with limited options of getting back home to the United States.  I am in the process of rescheduling my Israel trip to a later date.

In the meantime, I wanted to let you know I am still going to be gone January 11 - 22, 2022.  I had saved up my vacation time to go to Israel, and I will lose it if I don't take it this month.  I will be out-of-state during the above-listed dates, but I will still be in the United States.  During January 11 - 22, 2022, please watch over your specific church and attend to matters in my absence.  If any small or medium issues arise, we can touch base after I return.  If there is a pressing matter (e.g., the church burned down, there was an outbreak of COVID-19 in the congregation, etc.), please feel free to call me and I will do what I can to help you navigate that difficulty.  Thank you for the work you do for your brothers and sisters, and thank you for your partnership with me in the gospel.  Your ministry enables my ministry to succeed!

God bless,

Pastor Nathaniel Gamble
